We celebrated our birthdays tonight by opening our gifts to each other. Audrey got Brian a Polo set and a fleece vest from EMS. She got me a blue sweater from LL Bean with a matching blue top to go under it, also and a set of Christmas candles and a Lenox tree ornament. We got her a digital picture frame. We all love our gifts..Grama was a little overcome by the card we gave her..

Visit from Mom/Grama/GG/Audrey

Grama/Audrey/GG/Mom came to visit us this weekend. We've been having alot of fun so far, but I've forgotten to take pictures except for these two...we went to Wrentham Outlet Mall, On the way we ate at Dairy Queen. Brian and I had never been to a Dairy Queen but for a fast food place, we were impressed with the food. We had fun buying clothes for our little ChloeBug at the mall, I got a Coach purse for my birthday...we walked around for almost 4 hours! That mall is pretty big...Then we went to dinner at the Altnaveigh Inn. We all had excellent meals, the wind was blowing pretty hard, so the lights kept going on and off, finally went off for good, so I had to write a check to pay for our meals as they couldn't put through my Visa card. Then we went home and relaxed till bedtime

Sarah wants me to update the blog more often, so here's a picture of me at work, honestly there isn't alot going on here,but I'll try to find something at least every other day

These trees are down the street for us, on my way to work. The trees here are breathtakingly beautiful..unfortunately, they are also going away. Alot of them are on the ground now..but still a few left

Someone loves our new couch...can you tell? I tried keeping him off the couch, but gave in and put a sheet over it...he's not too spoiled!

I was making waffles this morning and cracked an egg into the mix, and look what came out...twins! yuk....

A Beautiful Fall Day

We went for a ride today, it was so beautiful out...we went to G&L Christmas Barn, it's one of our favorite places to go...then we went to dinner at a place we've never been to, Willimantic Brewing Co. It's an old post office that they renovated..very cool place...good food too! www.willibrew.com

Poor Sandyman

Sandy had to have surgery on his ear yesterday, and the poor guy is not doing well with recovery. I think he's in pain and he also wants to itch. He has meds for pain and itching, hopefully it will kick in soon, I just gave him both about an hour ago....Let's hope he feels better soon, he paces the house, whining all the time.

My trip to Maryland

I had to go to Maryland to train a new admin (administrative assistant, like me)..I rented a cool new Mustang and drove down..that was fun..actually it wasn't that bad. I used Brian's GPS..what DID we do before those were invented?? He's a picture of Sherry at her desk. and also a pic of the building that they're in..I had a nice time, but was glad to get back to CT and my hubby!

so we were watching tv tonight, a show that we taped, Terminator: Connor Chronicles, and all of a sudden Brian yells, Dinosaur BBQ!! I said, what? He rewound the tv and sure enough, in a crowd of people there was a guy with a Dino t-shirt on...I took a picture, also emailed Dino BBQ and told them, I wonder if they will respond...

Today, Brian and I went to Ikea and on the way back we ate at this little diner.

On Tuesday night, we were woken by the house alarm...after our hearts calmed down, we tried to figure out why it went off...Brian figured it out..this little guy did it!

Father's Day 2008

Brian and I had a great day today. We slept in (10am!!) and then I made him panny cakes. We were going to go to the shore for a seafood feast but the weather in CT didn't cooperate so we went shopping instead! We stopped and Shea's Pub in Manchester (http://www.sheasamerican.com/) for a late lunch / early dinner.

I also tried out the new digital video camera that Brian got as his present for 30 years of service to UTC.
